Queen of Swords/Tarot card

I wanted a powerful and profound name for my first own store that I could easily identify myself with.
The "Queen of Swords", actually a tarot card from the great Arcana, set always encourages you to use your mind and experience to master emerging decisions in life.
Basically, it's about using your mind like a razor-sharp sword, carefully examining the long-term consequences for yourself and those around you, and not giving in to the illusions and deceptions of others.
However, since she is assigned not only to the element of air (mind) but also to the element of water (feelings), the Queen of Swords wants to unite heart and mind/head and gut/knowledge and faith in the same way.
„Sei wie die stolze Rose, die immer nur Rose will sein...“ that's how my mother already rewrote the famous „Sei wie das Veilchen im Moose...." for me when I was a child.
Your mind belongs to you alone, you learn from your experiences and the more independent you become from your environment, the more confident and courageous you will go your way.
Furthermore, the Queen of Swords invites you to be open to new impulses and to invite your fellow human beings to the diaolog.

Safer Space
All genders, all body forms, all skin colors welcome! Queen of Swords stands against all discrimination forms. I want to offer you a safer space - you should feel as safe and comfortable as possible during the tattoo process.
​
Please note, however, that a place can never be 100 percent safe (that's why we call it „safer“ space and not „safe“ space). I am a human and I make mistakes. Of course, I try to be as empathetic and sensitive as possible.
​
We create the safer space together, with rules and healthy boundaries and clarification about what we want and what we don't want. That's why communication is the key.
Please talk to me before/during/after the tattoo session if anything makes you feel unwell. Let me know, if you have any insecurities, trigger, bad experiences in the past with tattooers, problems with nudity or anything else.
On the other hand, I equally expect you to abide by my boundaries and rules in the studio. Please ask if you have not understood something.
Your basic needs are important at all times. Hot/cold, food/drink, toilet etc.
You can always ask for a break.
I always try to respect your physical and mental boundaries. Please let me know if you don't want to talk during the session, if you want to hear different music or be quiet.
I try my best to explain every step in the tattoo process and afterwards about the healing and aftercare.

I totally accept, if you don't want me to take photos of your tattoo or during the session, or if you dont want to be tagged in social media.

The Studio
The Studio is located in „Wollwirkergasse 25“ in the so called „Praunsmändel-Haus“ in the center of Regensburg near „Arnulfsplatz“.
If you arrive by car you can easily park in the „Arnulfplatz Parkhaus“ around the corner. If you arrive by bus you can drive to „Arnulfsplatz“, from there it's a 3-minute walk. You can find „Queen of Swords Tattoo“ in Google Maps.

The baroque house was built by Hans Adam Praunsmändel between 1707-1717, a rich and noble merchant and tradesman, born in a family of goldsmiths.
The 300-year-old house is richly decorated with original stucco ceiling, wooden stairs and a lot of old charm.
Unfortunately, the builder was drowned in the Donau in 1718.

The special vibe of the old building and past times was also inspiring for the name „Queen of Swords“.
